Michelle Lova
Born in 1989 in Essen, DE
Resides and works in Berlin, DE
German painter Michelle Lova captures figures contextualized within their specific environment, such as the public or in a leisurely context. Her sensitive but vivid paintings preferably depicts pairs of people in a precise and bold palette, deriving from her immediate surrounding, biographic elements, filmstills or found objects. As a result of her longtime travels into over 26 countries, a driving topic of her work is authenticity and humanity, juxtaposed with the economization and segmentation of our times.
